TRAINING PROGRAM & HOUSEKEEPING PERSONNEL

Premier believes it is essential to create an effective and productive work environment for our employees. This environment enables our employees to develop a sense of importance toward their duties as well as satisfaction within themselves. As a result, we have implemented a specialized training program to educate our staff on how to perform their functions.

Since the inception of our training program we have lowered our employee turnover and increased client satisfaction. This more stable work force is instrumental to our service delivery.

The training program consists of a series of audiovisual presentations focusing on each type of cleaning function and on-site performance. We have developed a workbook and tests to accompany each presentation. The topics covered in our training include:

  • Basic building cleaning
  • Restroom cleaning
  • Ground rules for professional custodians
  • Maintaining janitorial equipment
  • Floor care maintenance
  • Building equipment cleaning
  • Complete OSHA training
  • Safety procedures
At the conclusion of the classroom training session, the employee enters the on-site orientation program. This part of the program is specifically designed for the client's facility. These topics include:

Finally the employee is trained on his/her specific work assignments and is walked through their regular routine. All of this training will be performed on-site to further customize the program.

Because training is an ongoing process, we periodically reinforce this training through routine inspections and re-testing. Any corrections are handled positively. The employee reviews the training presentations and receives one-on-one coaching. We have found this program effective in increasing performance levels and productivity
